Bat Damage Repair and Permanent Sealing in Brandon
What actually needs repairing
Bats do very little structural damage themselves. The damage comes from everything that goes with a long running roost. Staining works through soffit and fascia, vent screening fails and stays failed, and moisture held in soiled insulation sits against the timber it touches. Those elements get repaired as part of closing the building rather than handed to another trade afterwards.
On a block house the fascia is often the piece that has moved and let the soffit lift in the first place. Refitting the panel without addressing the fascia behind it gives you the same open slot again.
Sealing that survives the climate
A seal is only worth paying for if it lasts. Materials get chosen for UV exposure and for how far they move through a Florida summer, rather than for how fast they go on. A bead that lifts reopens the entry point and hands the colony back a roost it already knows how to find.
Vents are rescreened in metal mesh rather than the plastic insect screen that failed, and panel ends are mechanically fixed rather than relying on the clip that let go.
